- Assisting in M&A modeling and analysis
- Assisting with acquisition due-diligence and ad hoc analysis

- Maintaining precedent transaction tracking database for all beverage alcohol M&A transactions
You'll also perform other financial related duties and special projects as required. For example, when another department requires financial modeling or evaluation expertise, they call on our group to assist, and you'll help contribute to these projects as needed.
Keys to Success
In addition to your keen analytical ability, success in this role will require:
- Independent initiative -- with plenty of self motivation, you'll concentrate on learning the "in's and out's" of our business, culture, and group goals so that you can quickly begin making a positive impact. Then, with focus, persistence and excellent follow through, you'll help us achieve even more as a department as you continue to advance your skills. You'll also learn from your experiences in this role and use those to both optimize our processes and to take point in independently figuring out what your next steps should be.
- Accountability -- you'll notice that everyone in the Corporate Development group takes great pride in their work and personal responsibility for achieving our goals, and we'll look to you to do the same. This will mean not only gaining the confidence of this group through the timely completion of your projects but also through the production of error-free work, and you'll ensure such accuracy by developing your own system for both identifying errors and quickly and effectively correcting them.
- Team player mentality -- you'll take a collaborative approach to projects and show that you are willing to jump in and assist wherever there is a need.
- Flexibility -- we operate in a very fast paced environment where the status of our projects and priorities can change very rapidly. As such, you must be capable of quickly and effectively "switching gears" and comfortable working with ambiguity and the uncertainty of what will come next.
- Effective communication -- you'll use your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build solid working relationships with other members of the organization, as well as to proactively express your needs in order to ensure a healthy and productive environment.
If this sounds like the right mix of challenge and opportunity, and you meet the required qualifications, we look forward to hearing from you.
